In order to conduct our business of processing funds transfer orders for our money transmitter clients, we obtain certain items of personal information of the individual retail customers of our clients (“personal information”). We store this personal information on our computer systems and use it to process funds transfers on behalf of our clients, who have requested the funds transfers upon the order of their retail customers. We also send some items of personal information to third parties who act as our distribution points, where designated beneficiaries collect the proceeds of the funds transfer orders. Finally, we may also share personal information with regulatory or law enforcement authorities when required under applicable law.
TransNetwork does not use, sell or share any personal information for marketing purposes. We endeavor to safeguard and protect the personal information in our possession, although of course no system can be guaranteed 100% secure. The systems on which we store personal information are maintained in a secure physical environment. Only our employees who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personal information. We have physical security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of personal information under our control.
